The Aberdovey Bike Ride, a significant cycling event in the West Midlands, had Datatag proudly continue it’s sponsorship in 2025. Datatag’s sponsorship supported the ride’s mission to raise funds for charities. For 2025, the official charities include:
- Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity
- Tough Enough To Care
- Friends of RJAH
- Little Paws Cat Haven
- Aberdyfi Search and Rescue
The ride is known for its scenic routes and community spirit. The standard route, over 100 miles, wend its way through the rolling landscape from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey on the Welsh coast. For those with stronger legs a longer loop took in the challenging climb at Dinas Mawddwy with inclines peaking at 19.5%!
