Datatag’s Nick Mayell, recently described by IAATI President Mr JD Hough as the world’s leading authority on heavy equipment identification, has been in New York delivering training to the city’s officers on that very topic.
Nearly 40 officers from the NYPD were joined by colleagues from as far as Mexico the Dominican Republic and Jamaica to learn about the specialist subject of identification of heavy equipment/plant, motorcycles and cars.
Nick said, “It’s always rewarding to be able to pass on the knowledge that I have acquired over many years to new officers and then hear of the immediate success they have in putting into practice their new skills.”
