Long standing exhibitors at LAMMA, Datatag ID Ltd, who provide the technology behind the CESAR Scheme, will return to LAMMA on January 8th and 9th.
The show is held at the NEC Birmingham for the first time and is the UK’S largest agricultural trade show and attracts over 850 exhibitor’s each year. The 2019 show promises the most extensive array of farm machinery, equipment and services on display at any show in the UK.
The award winning CESAR Scheme is fitted as standard by most leading manufacturers to safeguard equipment from the constant threat of theft and now protects over 275,000 items of machinery and is widely supported in the agricultural market and is actively promoted by the Agricultural Engineers association (AEA).
Manufacturers installing CESAR as standard on their tractors and agricultural equipment include John Deere, JCB, Massey Ferguson, McCormick, Landini, Case IH, New Holland, Merlo, Manitou, Amazone, Suzuki, Polaris and Kubota.
CESAR is made up of state of the art Datatag technologies including the now iconic triangular tamper evident ID plates, RFID tags and microscopic Datatadots with Datatag forensic DNA. Once a machine is fitted with CESAR its details are recorded on Datatag’s secure database which, in the unlikely event of a theft, police can access 24/7 enabling them to identify the stolen machine at the roadside and return it to its rightful owner.
The theft deterrent benefit of CESAR is such that NFU Mutual, amongst many other leading insurance companies, provide premium discounts of up to 20% for all CESAR registered equipment.
Datatag also provides security marking systems for ATVs, 4×4’s and trailers. These products have a proven record in reducing theft and helping facilitate stolen vehicle recoveries.
