This innovation allows law enforcement officers to quickly verify a vehicle’s identity and theft status by entering any one of several identifiers – including the vehicle registration, frame number, engine number, Datadots, or UV Etch directly into the Datatag Database via a simple online web service. Rapid Checks require only a standard mobile device, making them accessible to any verified police officer without the need for specialist equipment.
