Datatag ID the power behind the official CESAR Scheme will exhibit at the unmissable Executive Hire Show (EHS) on the 7th and 8th February at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. EHS is the UK’s most important show for the tool and plant hire industry.
Datatag ID is a regular exhibitor at the show and their stand (A10) will feature two award winning products, the official CESAR Scheme and the more recently launched MicroCESAR System.
The CESAR Scheme, launched in 1997, now protects over 250,000 pieces of equipment. CESAR is fitted as standard by most leading equipment manufacturers, including JCB, Manitou, Merlo and Takeuchi, to safeguard equipment from the constant threat of theft.
Both CESAR and MicroCESAR use state of the art Datatag security marking technology to give each piece of equipment a permanent and indelible identity that is impossible to remove. The multi-layered identity technology used includes tamper evident ID plates, RFID tags, microscopic Datatadots and Datatag forensic DNA. Once a machine is fitted with CESAR its details are recorded on Datatag’s secure database which the police, and other law enforcement agencies can access round the clock enabling them to identify a stolen machine at the roadside. The theft deterrent benefit of CESAR is such that leading insurers, provide insurance premium discounts of up to 20% for all CESAR registered equipment.
MicroCESAR also has the added benefit of an integrated mobile asset management system which gives users access to user manuals, health and safety manuals and can track tools in and out of jobs
Datatag also provides security marking systems for ATVs, 4×4’s and trailers. These products have a proven record in reducing theft and helping facilitate stolen equipment recoveries.
